[Wildlife is abundant in the Cove. On shore, you can expect daily sightings of deer, squirrels, birds, and rabbits. Occasionally, we are graced with the presence of coyotes, and bear. While sightings of fox and bobcats are rarer than they have been in the recent past, we are hoping for a rapid and healthy return of their visits.

Along the coast, you will often see pelicans, sea lions, seals, and the occasional otter. In the tidepools, you'll see (but please don't touch) abundant sea anemones, sea stars, sunstars, chiton, snails, sea slugs, and bountiful other sea species.

In the ocean, you'll see whales (during the spring and autumn migration seasons), dolphins, salmon, abundant other fish and the occasional shark.]
